Spiced Rum & Banana Blitz

Ingredients

  • 3 large scoops vanilla ice cream
  • ¾ cup butterscotch sauce (caramel sauce is a good substitute)
  • 3 bananas, plus extra, to garnish 
  • 180ml spiced rum
  • ice cubes
  • sprinkle of ground nutmeg, to garnish
A boozy dessert that's rich and creamy, with a kick of spiced rum. No fuss and quick to make, just pop it all in the blender! Serves 3.
  1. Add vanilla ice cream, butterscotch sauce and bananas to a blender.
  2. Blitz until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add spiced rum and blitz again.
  4. Add ice to serving glass.
  5. Pour mixture over ice cubes and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
  6. Garnish with sliced banana on a cocktail pick.
