Ingredients

  • For the biscuit crumble:
  • 2 crushed chocolate biscuits
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch ground ginger
  • For the drink:
  • 90ml Johnnie Walker Red Label whisky
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • biscuit crumble, to serve
  • fresh or toasted marshmallow, to serve

Whisky, chocolate, biscuits and marshmallows combine for a drink made in winter heaven. Serves 2

  1. To make the biscuit crumble, mix together biscuits, cocoa powder and ground ginger in a small bowl
  2. Place whisky, milk, cream, cocoa and brown sugar in a small saucepan and bring to just below a simmer, stirring constantly to ensure sugar and cocoa are well combined
  3. Keep at a gentle heat for 10 minutes or until ready to serve
  4. Divide liquid between 2 glasses or mugs and top with a sprinkle of biscuit crumble and a marshmallow
