  • salt
  • lime wedges
  • juice of half a lime
  • 1 teaspoon Worcester sauce
  • a few dashes of chili sauce to taste
  • 100ml tomato juice
  • lager
  • ice

In need of a hair-of-the-dog drink? This Latin-American beer cocktail made with lager, tomato juice and spices was made for lazy recuperation. Serves 1

  1. Rub the rim of a tall glass with a wedge of lime and dip into a saucer of salt (feel free to add any additional spices or dried herbs you like)
  2. Half fill the glass with ice and add the lime juice, worcester sauce, chili sauce and tomato juice and top with the lager
  3. Stir then garnish with fresh lime wedges, and find somewhere quiet and shady to recover!
