Champagne Mumm has launched a very special new Grand Cordon bottle, and New Zealand is one of the first international markets to see it – just in time for Valentine’s Day
When you’re a famous and loved Champagne company with over 180 years of history, change isn’t something you do often. But Champagne Mumm has an avante-garde spirit, and so when they do something different, they really go for it.
Created by respected British designer Ross Lovegrove, whose futuristic organic-shaped furniture and objects have won many global design awards, Champagne Mumm’s new Grand Cordon bottle has no label and is instead decorated with Mumm’s famous Cordon Rouge red sash indented straight onto the bottle.
The new Grand Cordon bottle, which launches this month in New Zealand as one of the first places in the world, was also designed with an unusually long, slender neck, in order to help develop the aromas of Mumm’s legendary Cordon Rouge blend, which has scents of fresh fruits and tropical notes, plus intense pinot noir aromas that are the signature of Mumm Champagnes.
