Jules Taylor creates The Jules Rosé

Jules Taylor has made rosé wine since 2009 - way before rosé was a 'thing'. This year, she has given this delicious varietal a 2020 makeover.

Iconic New Zealand winemaker Jules Taylor has made a new wine, The Jules Rosé.

On September 1 2020, Jules launched this delicious summer wine which she says personifies her desire to create something beautiful from a difficult year.

“I just love rosé” says Jules. “To me, it signifies happiness in a glass and after all the doom and gloom of 2020 I decided I needed to focus on something fresh and positive.”

This rosé wine is bursting with summer fruits: raspberry, pomegranate, papaya and mango sit alongside yummy hints of poached rhubarb and vanilla cream. Fresh and fruit-packed, gorgeous raspberry and pomegranate flavours sit alongside typical notes of strawberries and cream. The delicious juicy acidity and dry finish make this wine an ideal summer’s day sipper and will leave you reaching for another glass.

The bespoke illustration on the label represents Jules' hands-on approach in the vineyeards and is a more feminine, detailed design, representing Jules' attention to detail. Jules loves the new look. "I think it's a beautiful design that catches your eye. Who wouldn't want to turn up to a barbecue with a bottle looking like this?"
