What we're sipping

Spotlight on: Clancy's Red

With Australia Day just gone, we take a look at a wine that celebrates a little piece of Aussie history

Peter Lehmann Wines have honoured the great 1889 Australian poem, Banjo Paterson’s Clancy of the Overflow with a classic Australian blend that is as true to the land as Clancy himself.

Clancy’s Red is a pure Barossa wine: a collaboration of winemakers and growers who believe in making honest wines that punch above their weight. A blend of cabernet, merlot and shiraz, this wine is soft and supple and full of juicy blackcurrant flavour. The palate shows rich, plummy bright red fruits, and long, savoury tannins adding complexity.

Easy drinking, great value and with a stylish, new look label, we reckon Clancy would approve.
