KENTUCKY DREAMING

Bourbon may be known as America’s native spirit, but there’s one bourbon that’s become legend

Founded in 1795 and operated by the same family for seven generations, Jim Beam Bourbon has essentially been made the same way for the past 224 years. Double aged in new charred oak barrels for four years, Jim Beam White Label is unsurprisingly the world’s number one bourbon. This Kentucky staple delivers elements of grain and oak combined with nuances of char, fruit and caramelised sweetness, with notes of oak, spice, vanilla, caramel and toasted nuts, and medium-bodied complexity. A classic bourbon deserves a classic cocktail and the sour, with its perfect balance of sweet and sour, and with a fluffy top that’s winter perfect, is our favourite for this enduring spirit.
