You might think that alcohol and ice cream would be an odd combination but there you would be wrong, so, so wrong. Here at Liquorland Toast magazine we’re massive fans of alcohol infused ice cream sundaes and floats (check out our favourite recipes below), and after interviewing some of the world’s top whisky master blenders, we’ve also become converts to eating ice cream alongside a dram of this amber spirit, the chill of the frozen dessert contrasting brilliantly with the heat of the whisky.
Hence, we like to keep our noses to the ground on what’s new and hot in the world of ice cream, and have just come across Ben & Jerry’s latest flavours – two new non-dairy, certified vegan scoops that are blowing our minds right now (pictured above). P.B & Cookies is a vanilla frozen dessert with chocolate sandwich cookies and crunchy peanut butter swirl; and Caramel Almond Brittle is an almond frozen dessert with salted caramel swirls and pieces of almond brittle. We conducted some in-depth research and concluded that whether you’re dairy-free, vegan or none of the above, they both taste so damn good that you need to try them.
