Pretty as a picture, this twist on a G&T is like a garden party for the palate. Serves 1
  1. To make a dried rose and sugar rim, crush a small handful each of caster sugar and dried rose petals together onto a plate. Squeeze citrus juice onto another plate. Coat the rim of a glass in the juice, then dip into the sugar mix to create an even layer
  2. Slice strips off a Lebanese cucumber with a vegetable peeler for garnish and muddle the rest in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, gin, elderflower cordial, a small squeeze of lemon or lime juice and shake vigorously
  3. Strain into a glass, top up with soda and/or
tonic water and garnish with edible flower ice cubes, if using, and cucumber strips
