Ingredients

  • small handful fresh blueberries
  • small handful fresh mint
  • 60ml gin
  • 30ml Chambord
  • teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 200ml ginger beer
  • sugared blueberries, to garnish (optional)

Dark berries, vanilla and mint combine in a flavourful cocktail to banish winter blues. Serves 1

  1. Muddle blueberries and mint in the bottom of a cocktail shaker, add ice, gin, Chambord and vanilla extract and shake well
  2. Strain into an ice-filled glass, top with ginger beer and stir gently
  3. Garnish with sugared blueberries on a cocktail skewer (optional)
  4. Sugared blueberries: Roll blueberries in lemon juice and shake off excess, then gently roll in sugar. Leave to dry and then thread onto a cocktail skewer.
