Dark Berry and Fresh Mint Spritzer


  • 1 cup frozen blueberries or blackberries, defrosted
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 120ml Hennessey VS Cognac
  • 30ml Chambord
  • soda water
  • fresh mint sprigs

Makes 4

  1. Place the defrosted berries in a bowl and add the brown sugar. Mix well with a muddler.
  2. Place a fine sieve over a bowl and pour the berry mixture in. Push the pulp through to remove the seeds.
  3. Pour the sieved mixture into a cocktail shaker. Add the cognac and Chambord. Shake well.
  4. Strain into glasses filled with ice and top with soda water. Garnish with fresh mint.
