Ingredients

  • cup brown sugar
  • cup cocoa powder
  • 50 grams butter
  • cup chocolate liqueur or Baileys

Celebrate Pancake Tuesday next week with a decadent, melt-in-your-mouth boozy chocolate sauce

  1. Combine the sugar and cocoa powder in a saucepan and add the butter, stirring over medium-low heat to melt and combine
  2. Turn the heat to low then add the liqueur and whisk for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and pour over pancakes, then garnish with bananas, berries, nuts, coconut or ice cream
