Be in to win an amazing gourmet hamper of French foods from Maison Vauron to help celebrate Bastille Day
Next week sees French people around the world celebrate their national day of freedom – Bastille Day – on the 14th July.
To get ourselves in the mood we've been planning a menu of French delicacies and beer here, while pouring through the incredible foods offered by Kiwi company Maison Vauron.
In 1879, Antoine Vauron began his business as a wine merchant in southwest France. Decades later his great-grandson Jean-Christophe Poizat took on the tradition and, after travelling to New Zealand where he fell in love with the country (and his future wife), he founded Maison Vauron, which has been importing the best French cheeses and specialty goods to New Zealand since 1999. Yearly discovery trips to France ensure the company keeps Kiwis in the best delicacies of the region. With the opening of Auckland gourmet shop L'Atelier du Fromage in 2015, Maison Vauron now has an eatery where you can sample New Zealand’s best selection of French cheeses, charcuterie and delicacies.
This week Toast is offering one extremely lucky reader the chance to win a hamper of gourmet French foods from Maison Vauron (pictured below), containing:
