Moa Beer moves to Cans

Classic New Zealand beer brand Moa has moved their entire classic range to cans.

Moa Beer has moved their entire 'classic' range to cans, in a positive step towards a more sustainable future.

Moa is excited about the new step towards a greater future for drinkers and the brand alike, as Aotearoa continue to adapt to the challenge of a new sustainable world. The eight classic varieties, including the Moa Station IPA, Dry Hopped Pilsner, Big Sky APA, Pelorus XPA, Moa Pale Ale, Original Lager, Wild Coast Black Beer, and the Session Pale Ale will all be now available in the 330ml can offering.

The new, slick design began in May 2020, and consumers are loving it. As well as being fully recyclable, cans have many other benefits, including the beer chilling faster, the beer is better protected from harmful light, and they are much more portable than bottles. You can also fit more of them in your fridge, and there are less breakages!

The shift is set to reinforce Moa's strong commitment to focus on positive benefits to both consumers and society. Stephen Smith, Moa Brewing's CEO, says, "The market is rapidly moving towards cans, and while we are focused on the overall positive environmental impact, it's also great to know the change is also positive for our drinkers."
