The brewers at the Monteith’s Brewing Co. in Greymouth are pleased to unveil their new "star" brew specifically designed for curious pale ale palates – introducing Monteith’s Pointers Pale Ale

The Pointers Pale Ale is a genuine West Coast creation which combines a unique blend of five of New Zealand finest hops – Green Bullet, Wai-iti, Motueka, Rakau and Kohatu – which create an upfront burst of tropical fruit aroma and reveal mandarin and peach notes on the lips. Cloudy and golden in colour, this brew is balanced using a select blend of Munich, Ale and Wheat malts, which create a crisp, lingering finish, leaving you wanting more.

Monteith’s Pointers Pale Ale, is a 4.2% full-bodied yet sessionable brew which reveals an unbridled taste profile on the very first sip. You’re unlikely to have tasted anything quite like it.

Tony Mercer, head brewer at Monteith’s Brewing Co. says, “’Pointers has certainly been a labour of love, it’s taken the whole team about 12 months since inception, but good things take time. This is a superb brew from its deep golden, cloudy colour, through to the revealing flavoursome citrus notes and crisp finish. This is certainly a well-rounded, perfectly balanced pale ale, thanks to the select blend of malts.”

So what are you waiting for? Monteith’s Pointers Pale Ale is possibly the most drinkable pale ale on the market!
