BEER COCKTAILS TO CELEBRATE SAILGP

If you can't be at the ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix in Christchurch this weekend, you can enjoy two SailGP-inspired cocktails from home.

One of the biggest surprise culinary trends this year has been the explosion in popularity of ‘beer cocktails’ - and with new low-carb, smooth-drinking options on the market like Heineken Silver, they have never been easier to make.

To celebrate the world’s most exciting racing on water – the SailGP – returning to Ōtautahi, Christchurch, Heineken has teamed up with cocktail specialist Dave Ryan to craft two Heineken Silver cocktails with home-team favourite athletes from the recently rebranded Black Foils Blair Tuke (above right) and Joshua Junior (above left) fronting the campaign. The best part? You can make them at home!

"With the seemingly ever-evolving landscape of beverage consumption, beer is no longer just a standalone drink, but a versatile and delicious ingredient for mixology,” says Fraser Shrimpton, Marketing Director at Heineken. “We're excited to showcase the versatility of Heineken Silver through these innovative limited-edition cocktails”.
